Transmission Protocols

AlphaNet for Windows can transmit to message centers via:

• Serial Port -- COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4
• Modem -- on COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4
• Ethernet TCP/IP Protocol
• POCSAG Wireless Protocol

The computer must have at least one available Serial Port, Modem or Network Adapter to communicate to the message center(s).
